Strange shifts on hard acceleration
When I put my foot into it, the shifts are not firm. The RPMs flair up for a second or two then come down about 200 RPMs. It does this on both, upshifts and downshifts. It is especially noticable when towing heavy loads. It almost seems like the lockup torque converter is engaging when it shouldn't. I installed a Superchip, hoping it would change things. It didn't. Is this the way the EOD4's are? I am unsure as I just purchased the truck. Any ideas?
