Unhappy Location of Flasher - 1999 F150

I am driving my Dad's 1999 F150, Everything works - brake lights, hazards, front and rear lights, dash lights, but all four turn signals. I have replaced the fuses (13, 20) and the high amp fuses under the hood (cannot remember the numbers there), bulbs work - but checked for good connecttion. The parts store and Ford garage say the flahser. Any ideas where the flasher is? I know what it looks like but dang if I can find it. Searched the web and cannot find a replacement for it, so I am wondering if there is a flasher in the newer models?
thanks
Diana

Its a yellow relay in the relay box with the blower relay, under the drivers side dash, towards the center of the dash. It is a relay and flash unit built into one.
