And sometimes you can hear them hit, not just a few at a time, but a LOT. I waxed all the front good, and all the bugs have been comming of good. As of now, I don't have any mods like that ( I washed my truck yeasterday and didn't drive today)

It least it isn't a huge monster like a motor home or a big Freightliner, those are a pain in the you know what to cleen.

At least you do not have bugs that eat your paint off. In Florida we have love bug, which mate twice a year and are all over the place. If you do not get them off your vehicle immediately their juices eat your paint!

I have that mod as well.....especially love the really big ones that have about a quart of yellow guts!

I try to keep some extra wax on the front as well and use a bug remover called Splat!. It seems to work really well and hasn't damaged anything I have used it on.

Before you take that long trip spray the front end with Pam cooking spray ( a lite coat ). Then go to the car wash and they will come right off. Hope this helps.

Thumbs up

We have every kind of bug you can imagine, crawling or flying The flying ones do the damage, you just squish the crawling ones under your tires. Get a front end bra?? I've got one, but only for the grill. It works!!!!,,,,,98

PAM IT!

clarkd60 is on the right track! I've heard people that own trailers & motorhomes use PAM. A lite coat and a wash when your home from the trip. Being a trailer owner, I've never tried it but I usually don't have that much of a problem with bugs where we go camping.

GOOD LUCK!
