Traction control/4x4 question

Traction control/4x4 question
I have a question if you guys can help me with it. I've had 4x4 trucks in the past. But my new F-150 is the first vehicle I've owned with traction control. It's going to snow this weekend for the first time this year. In years past I've turned on the 4x4 and gone. I know the default setting is the traction control on. What do I do with the traction control and 4x4? Is the traction control by itself enough? Do I turn both of them on? Or disable the traction control and go with the 4x4 only? I know this maybe an odd question, but I have no experience at all with traction control.

holding the tc button down for 5 seconds will disable all the tc features (roll stability, trailer sway, tc) up until 25mph, i think that's the speed (it's explained in the manual). Pressing it once turns tc off but leaves roll stability, trailer sway on. I've seen good responses from allowing tc to stay on in both 2wd and 4x4. pressing the button once usually lets you spin the tires more if needed.
