Ahhh, - your right, they are lighter than that on the scales. I recall shipping weight of my truck was something like 4800 lbs when I ordered it. I didn't believe it was that light at the time.

I've my truck weighed on two different scales over the years and both times it was 5,300-5,500 lbs; that's normal, full tank of gas, completely unloaded, ready to drive. AND, that 5,500 is with my lift, wheel/tires, etc. I was just curious about the split (for no particular reason) without going back to the scales, cause it's most certainly not 50/50.

Yea, front end is allot heavier. I have my truck roller dollies right now so I slide it sideways in the garage if I need to easily. That was the plan anyway. The dollies are rated to 1500 lbs apiece, -1 per wheel.
Dollies are 1/4" steel w/3" castors. Dollies in front are sweating it lol. They haven't bent yet and it does work. It's a PITA to swing the front, I have to grunt a little, but I can do it. Well, until I hit the expansion joint in the concrete floor. I have get a little momentum going first and hope it's enough or I end up face planting into the fender.
So it's heavier up there, definitely.

I have them, but it's when I had my TT hitched up... Not sure if that's gonna help you, but it did tell me that I'm over weight on my truck!
When I rolled over the scales my axles weighed as follows;
trailer axles: #4540
truck Rear axle: #3400
truck Frt axle: #3080
This was done with me NOT in the truck (I had to read the scale weight at the closed truck weigh station from outside the booth!)
So, I'm another #230 of weight to the truck...
Trailer works out to have ~ #700 tongue weight. I was #460 over the trucks GVWR and #200 over the rear GAWR...
Oh well... What can I say?? I've towed this combo for over 9 years and going to do it again this year!

Was on the scales Tuesday my truck weighs 5420lb like it sits, add the 1600lb trailer and I'm 7020lbs. I towed in at 7620lbs at the dump had to get a new weight card because I added my ladder rack back on. I hate pulling more than I have to esp with my personal truck.
Sucks bad too, maybe I should remove my nerf bars and the heavy tools, need to lighten 600lbs or more off that trailer too. I put air bags on the rear so my front doesn't raise and the rear doesnt sag. Wish I had the 7700 series now, just cause I has a 9.75" rear doesn't make me feel any better. I have the E4OD for the F250 in my family room getting rebuilt.
