torn rubber hose stuck around spark plug.

Does anyone know the best way to get what looks like a piece of rubber hose stuck around the spark plug in cylinder #4 which has very little room to work.

My teacher for auto tech said to lift up the fuel rail, remove injector #4 to get more room. and maybe take off the heater hoses for even more room. (he did look at it)

I was going to do a compression test but cant until that last spark plug is out.

I have like a little hook connected to a handle, and long needle nose pliers that will reach in the spark plug tube. but cant get that rubber hose out of there.

do y'all guys think I should remove the injector and heater hoses for more room. or what? Thanks

Or a pick set, like teeth cleaning pick looking things to pick it apart and suck out or blow out the debri before removing the plug.

got the piece of rubber hose out. I used air but it didnt work, so I moved one of the heater hoses and used a zip tie to hold it out of the way. then unbolted th right side of the fuel rail and pulled it up, and took off #4 fuel injector, then unbolted the battery fuse bracket from the firewall and pulled it forward. I used a small hook with a handle to get it out. it took about 2hr-2.5hrs to do all of that.
