Question Drivers side A pillar assist handle

I am wanting to put a left (drivers) side window pillar assist handle like the one on the right side. Do these come on any models of the F150, like a 4x4? I have a 2x4 XL regular cab.

Not on any late model F150's.
I been bitching at ford to bring them back. I used to have them on previous trucks. Slipped off the wet running board and nearly took a dive just the other day when getting in. If enough people would ask for them, they'd bring them back.
To me, it's a safety issue and i don't believe a steering wheel is ment to be used to pull myself in.
The last vehicle we had, that had one on the driver side was a 2008 Escape, which sure came in handy. And it was lower the my 150 4X4...i don't get it

They stopped making and installing them for the same reason they stopped painting the interior bottoms of the doors.

I wish they still had them, too.

I just use the steering wheel.

I weigh 165lbs, tho.

there is an air bag in the driver A pillar. I saw it while installing my stereo system. Don't know about pass side. Also I noticed missing paint in many locations on my truck.

Bar none, the only thing I don't like about my 2011 Screw compared to my 2005 Scab. I miss that damn handle everytime I climb into my truck, especially during the months when ice and snow builds up on the running boards. I slipped last month and landed right on my knee, hard. I try not to use the steering wheel if I can help it, but since that fall I've been doing just that.

Oh man that's too bad. I just slide right in mine, no handle or running boards required. Guess lowered trucks do have their advantages.

The new trucks sit so low from the factory that that handle is pointless. I do think it should be there, but it doesn't bother me and i don't really notice it.

If it did work you'd have to weld nuts to the a-pillar for the handle to be properly secured....

I want my F%#!kin handle back too. Damn brilliant Engineers.
My old headlights would be good too.......and my old audiophile system was much better than this crappy sony.
If I had all that....this would be an almost perfect truck!

My 2011 sits higher than my 2005, so I'm assuming by "new" you mean anything built after the 80's?
