Motorcraft Platnum - 4.6L Spark plug change, 2005 F150

2 1/2 hours from start to finish, couple of busted knuckles and several prayers later...Out with the old in with the new. New versus old plug in the photo. Original plug on right had 127K miles on them.

so i take it the 4.6 the plugs dont break off like the 5.4

No, tey do not break, completely different plug.

Bluejay, how often are we suppose to change these plugs?

when u change plugs do u have to change coil packs to? im almost to 100k and was gonna do my plugs

Only if it runs rough or misses after you change the plugs.
