Recall - 11S18

I got a recall notice yesterday on my 2004 F150 Screw Lariat. It is for the driver's side airbag clockspring harness, wear due to chafing, resulting in possible inadvertant deployment.

Yeah, think I'll get that fixed. Maybe have a new PCM flash at the same time. Is there any easy way to know that they've actually updated the PCM? Have a cracked windshield as well, but the Dealer would probably charge too much for the windshield replacement, I'm guuessing around $350 from a glass shop, $500 to 600 at the dealer?

Check your insurance. In many cases glass is a no deductible replacement. Free of charge.
I am sure there are updates to the PCM, but remember, you will have to foot the bill for that one.

To the tune of $100. If you have a tuner (Edge, Gryphon, etc...) you can compare HEX files.
