I have a 2010 FX2 and I am considering the EZ down tailgate assist but have a question...

Do I need one for each side of the tailgate or is just 1 required.

 

On my 2004 XLT, only one is needed. Yours should only require one.

Just 1. I've had mine for few years now, still works perfectly..

 

Where are you getting these from? I checked their website and it says its not available for our model trucks. Plus, it says its not available on SuperCrew models.

Anyone know where, or which one to buy, or an '09 SuperCrew?

I bought mine from Cabelas. I think autoanything.com might have them.

 

i have one on my 2011 Screw and love it. think about it why wouldn't be available for screw there the same tail gate. check the deezee web site you can find a list of dealers. But here is the part #43200 it's the 04-06 one but works on ours.

 

I got mine on Amazon for $42.29 shipped. I have a 2010 Screw and this one fit fine.
