What is the difference between a H7 and H7U bulb?? Reason I ask is because I have the halo/projector headlights and took them apart earlier to find a H7U bulb.....I want to put HID's in the low beams but dont know if I need the H7U bulb or an H7 would do...

 

An additional letter usually indicates the shape of the bulb. Can you post a picture? As long as its a PX26d base, you can order an H7 kit and it should fit.

 

Unfortunately I only have a picture of the BACKSIDE of the bulb and not the front but the front is a fairly small sized bulb.....

The base looks normal. I wouldn't worry. Just get an H7 HID kit

 

Any idea why there are wires like that.....it looks like its soldered on or something instead of a harness to plug into like my fogs were. I want to do the install myself but when i saw this is kind of confused me.

 

You'd have to get a better picture for me. But this is what the power harness should look like:



When you get the HID, just plug the two wires into there, then into the ballast and from the ballast into the bulb.
