Is anybody running 37s with just a six inch lift? If so, please post pictures and specifications of your setup! Thanks!

 

ive got a friend that runs 37s on a 6in. fabtech lift. depending on the wheel specs you can do it.

I have a 6" rough country and a 1" spacer with 37s, minor rubbing had to trim the lower valance a bit, my album has pics

 

May be the wrong year your looking for but these are 37x13.5 on just a 6" fabtech lift and some trimming.





Not a lot of travel room though. But never went off road

 

^^^Looks good man. I have always liked that truck. I wanna run the same tire but I am gonna get the rcx 5 lift. I will end up with a body lift too though cause I need it for the transmission I am putting in my truck.

 

Your truck looks fantastic! I, too, have a RCX lift on my truck. I like it so far. What are your wheel specs, backspacing? how much trimming did you have to do for 37s? And what gearing are you running?

 

There's a guy that comes to the gym with a 6" Zone Lift running 37x12.5x20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on probably like a 20x9 rim with a high offset. IMO I wouldn't do it. It looks pretty crappy. Maybe it's just that the wheels are horrible looking and don't stick out much farther than factory wheels. A 37x12.5 tire looks tall and skinny. I'd stick to a 35x12.5 or 37x13.5. Spend the money and get you a set of Bilsteins; it's worth it.

 

thanks, wheels are pro comp i think the backspacing is 4.75" and offset is -6mm, as far as the valance goes my tires actually didnt rub at all on flat ground with the wheel turned all the way but everytime i pulled in my driveway with a small curb it would rub so i only took off about an inch at a 45degree angle and no more rubbing! barely even noticeable. i still have stock 3.73s gears in my truck, its sucks, my programmer helped a little bit but i plan on doing gears asap, i do all the work on my truck but myself so im still reading up on what would be best and how to do the install, i think im gonna go with 4.56s or 4.88s

 

i run the bilsteins, theyre nice but u would still need a 1" spacer to run 37s, i ran into a huge problem trying to run a 2" spacer ontop of the rough country lifts, search for my old thread if u plan on doing a spacer it will save u time and money and hassle

 

Why would he need the spacer? 6" lift + 2" Bilsteins will give you 8" which is plenty enough to run 37's. The guy who bought my 150 replaced the 2.5" spacer with Bilsteins and only has rubbing when at full lock in reverse. That's with an 11" wheel with a -24mm offset.

So you're running 6" RC + 2" Bilsteins + 1" spacer? I thought the RC couldn't be pushed up more than an additional inch due to how the cross members and knuckles are made short?

 

I run 37's on mine with just a leveling kit...LOL!

 

PS - I know you were asking about F150's.

 

the struts are for 4-6" lifts. if u have a 4" lift u leave them at the 0" setting, or u could crank them up 2" and be at 6". and if u have a 6" suspension lift u remove the factory strut and giant 6" spacer and replace with the new strut cranked up 2". it just removes the giant spacer on 6" lifts u dont achieve anymore lift. i have them i like them.

 

highon22s i think were talking about different bilsteins. they offer 5100s that are adjustable up to 2" that u still have to keep your giant 6" spacer. i have the 5100s made for lifted trucks that replace the 6" spacer.
