15" wheel on 2001 F-150...
I searched several times but found nothing unfortunately...
I need to know if a 15 inch wheel will fit a 2001 F150 4x4...I also need to know what back spacing is being used cause I'm sure its pretty shallow...I will probably be using 10 or 12 inch wide steel fake beadlock wheels...
I have a brand new set of 35x12.50x15 BF Goodrich A/T's on my 77 F150 that I would like to use on my streetrunner (pavement queen prerunner) project...

I have seen the older (97, 98) trucks use 15 inch wheels with alot of back spacing...Do they use smaller brakes and are they adaptable to the 99+ trucks...I prefer 15 inch wheels cause they look better and they are cheaper and the tires are cheaper...I just hate to buy new wheels and tires...

with enough back spacing you can clear the brake calipers, but it takes around 2" of back spacing... thats a WIDE stance for a mostly stock truck and small tires.
Most people will grind the calipers down, i dont see how this can be a great idea but its been done ALOT. so techincally you can do that.
The biggest problem for you will be finding wheels that will fit your 5x135mm bolt pattern. Id honestly give long wheel and rim a call and have them build something to your specs.
