285/70R17 0n stock 2006 F150 2wd
I have just gotten a 2006 F150 XLT Supercrew 2WD an it has the stock 17x7.5 steel rims on it. I wanna know whats the biggest All terrain tire I can put on it with no problems with rub and stuff with out having to put a lift/leveling kit on it...Does anyone know if i can fit 285/70R17 on it with no problems??

I'd go with a 2" Autospring and then put on the 285x70x17's. Truck will look completly different.

And i was thinking of using auto springs..is that a good brand to go with and is the powder coat really worth the extra $10??

ok so i order the 295/70R17 Nitto Terra Grappler AT tires and a AS 2.5" leveling kit for my truck today...Im gonna do the rear leaf or blocks later...but i put the tire up next to my truck and the tire store said it all seem's for it to clear with a 2.5" leveling kit...the only thing that would be close to rubbing is the plastic on the bottom of the bumper off of the metal front bumper..he said if that was a problem they can trim some of the plastic...now would that be the only main concern for rubbing?? Also the width concerned me, would it be rubbing on my brake line or anything around there???
