How to disable traction control...

Trying to follow coyote hounds on seasonal roads was just too hard with my FX4 an all the traction controls...So I had to make the swap!

I suppose that's one way to fix your traction control dilemna.

Enjoy the ride.

Wow. That is sweet. Congrats, I think a JDM tuner would have been a bit cheaper though. Whatever happened with that?

Well, they kept giving me the run around with it. Told me they figured it out then when I asked if they sent it they told me somthing eles they had to do to it. Talked to a guy from SCT an he told me that they dont have a program out yet for it to eliminate all the TCS. I just gave up lol

The raptor is def a beast, the ride is great even with the larger tires.

I was asking on the Raptor forum if all TCS options are eliminated with the offroad mode. Guess I found my answer.

Wonder if the Raptor Aux switches and Offroad mode program can be fit to an FX4???? I too have a real dislike for the TC. Trying to pull a snowmobile trailing into the cottage is almost impossible... even in 4Hi without someone else breaking trail... Bull***** power cut

I keep seeing these threads, but when i want to turn it off i just press or press and hold the tc button...tc stays off even after 35mph. the others do turn back on, is that what the hype is? Nice raptor though

Ya its the stability control that is what people dislike..TC will stay off but say you try an do a bunout..it will still apply brakes and cut power even when you around goin straight. Same thing happens in mud and snow if ur in some deep stuff...

Maybe the the 35mph setting is alright... but here in canada, pretty sure mine kicks in about 35kmh. 35mph = 57 kmh... huge difference.

I would LOVE to have a Raptor, but I'm not willing to give up my 250. Maybe when it's paid for in a couple years. Beautiful truck!
