Build Date from VIN#?
Does anyone know if you can figure out the build date (roughly) from a trucks VIN#?

Also, at least on the 09's anyway, and if you now have the truck, the build date is on a simple, little, white sticker (looks like a store price tag) on inside of fuel door.

No, I really do mean the fuel filler door. There really is a little sticker in there with the build date.

The build month and year is on the door jamb sticker.

Your window sticker will remain on the Ford site for about 2 years after the build date, just plug in your VIN.
