1992 Transmission Fluid?

Hey everyone.
I found noticed a small leak from my transmission, I dont know where exactly, but its leaking.

Anyways, two questions.

What kind of fulid should i use for my 1992 f150 351 auto w/od
and
Do you recommend adding that transmission "seal" additive?

Thanks,
Calvin

1. Mercon V.
2. Not unless you are prepared to rebuild or replace the tranny soon.

I'd crawl under there and clean off all the fluid and try to see where it's coming from. It may be something as simple as a pan gasket or tailshaft seal.
