Getting code p0308

I have a 2000 F150, with the 4.6l. It has roughly 260000km. I finally logged the p0308 code. Problem is, it only "misfires" when it is cold out, and very intermittently. I had the problem last year off and on for about a month. Problem dissapeared, and hasn't happened for around a year. I never got a code last year, and am glad one showed up now.

I've already had a look at the coil, and spark plug. No moisture, corrosion(I changed the plugs out a couple months ago). Everything looks good. Swapped both the plug and coil to another cylinder, code did not follow. I have since replaced the fuel filter, and ordered a set of injectors. I'm assuming it has to be an injector, or fuel related since the problem didn't follow the coil and plug.

Is there anything else I should check while I wait for the injectors to show up? Keep in mind it only does it when its cold out (it has been -10 to -30celcius). And the problem is still intermittant.

I have searched a few other threads, most stating that it wasn't the coil/plug with no real outcome of what their fix was.

I need to learn to read.. You can get remanufactured injectors on e-bay for about $100 what kind of plugs do you have? migh want to do a compression test. you could swap injectors.

What I meant was I bought a set of remanufactured injectors off ebay. A set of 8 bosch injectors. Even with express shipping it will be another 3-5 days before I get them. And I had installed the motorcraft plugs.

Yeah, I will try doing that tomorrow. I just figured it would be a good idea to replace the injectors anyways. When it is missing, its not a constant miss either. Its almost a surging type of misfire. I'll probably replace the o2 sensors while I'm at it tomorrow as well. Just for the sake of changing them.
