Also, I would recommend you get a powerful 4 channel and run the front 2 channels to your front speakers. Bridge the rear 2 channels on a single subwoofer, and run the rear speakers on the head unit turned down quite a bit. I think that would be a pretty decent setup for what you are after. A subwoofer adds a lot to a system as most 6.5" mids are quite weak below 60Hz (and in an untreated door they wont do much below 100Hz). You'll want a subwoofer. If you really want to amp the rears then get a 5 channel like the PDX5.
