from wanting a procharger to Eaton M112
The "J" mod also involved adding some holes to the separator plate for the valve body. There's a lot of information about it on the TCCOA website. I presume it's similar to what you get with the Factory Tech separator plate.
I sent you a picture of the engine. The idler bracket goes all the way across the top front of the motor. It has 2 idler pulleys and a tensioner pulley. All 8 rib. That and the alternator bracket are available at Ford or MAD Enterprises.
ok update. im getting really super close to buying the blower. probably when i make my next payment at the end of this week. question:
would a blown HD/L cam be different from a regular 5.4?

Phil
so you are getting idler pullies and an alternator bracket...
not a bad decision but you're gonna need the bracket the idler pullies bolt to, if you have a stock Lightning/Harley bracket then you'll need 2 pulleys, if you have a magnum powers bracket you'll need 3

Same heads and cam and valves. If your going for daily driver stock cams are fine. Remember that the positive displacement is probably the best for low rpm torque. Cams typically are going to open up the upper end of the rpm band. And the 5.4's 2v's are only good into the low 5,200-5,500 rpms. So installing a different cam will typically open up the upper rpm band, but will probably take away from the low end. If your using it as a daily driver and towing and even some off road, you need torque down low.
ok can do. I still need to go to San Antonio to pick it up haha. Im preparing so when it gets here ill be ready. and for right now I do not have a place to put it other than in my truck. but I move into my dorm up at school next week so ill go get it when i get my 2 days off of work.
