How do you cut concrete with a saw?

I got a concrete saw and i got it started and cut about a 1 foot line.

Now i cant get it restarted again.

Its a makita 14 inch blade, has a blue *** on it in the middle of the enigne to get it started.

by the hand guard there is a 3 way switch

bottom position is STOP
middle made it go run when i had it running
then the top, doesent click between top and middle.

how the hell do i get this thing going, the only thing i can think of is to remix the gas.

It probably has a choke on it, check the position on that. And yea, if the gas is old you might want to do a new mixture of gas and 2 cycle oil. Might also check the air filter, too.

Are you sure it's a 2 stroke? I rented one last year and it took regular gas, but it was a walk behind saw.

push that blue button, thats the compresson release, choke the engine, pull until it hits. Then take off choke, push the compression release again and pull until it hits again, rev the engine and she'll run, always make sure to get the blade up to speed gradually then start cutting

If it's one like I have, do what the OP said above me, and make sure the on switch is on.

Congrats!

Well got that bad boy started, had to remix the gas.

The reason i am cutting cret is becuase i got a underground pool and its leaking.

Good news is i found the leak. I was staring at it for hours until i turn the pump off and then it started to bubble.

anyway now i gotta wait till the water drains and then i gotta dig all the mud out.

Its not the prettiest thing ever but it is my first time.

Danggg, and I just used a sledge to plumb a bathroom in the basement. Only 4 inches of concrete. Nope, wasn't pretty, but Redi-mix and carpet covered that up

I thought about using the Muzzle loader, - ahhh, the neighbors were nosey enough
