Truck wont stop! Help...

I have put new rotors and pads (not cheap ones) on my truck a while ago and broke them in very easy. I gave it a few months now but the truck will not stop like it should. If I hit them as hard as I can it feels like im pushing them 50% in my navigator. I cant get them to hit abs in the rain by slamming on them and at this point I need to stay way off of the cars in front of me to avoid any emergency stopping.

I have blead them a few times and I have upgraded the lines to stainless with no help. They dont go to the ground and feel normal at the pedal but just feels like there is no bite? The only thing I can think of is when I bought the truck I had it delivered and it had no master cyl cap.

I am open to any ideas here but the only thing I have not replaced is the master cyl but I have not ever had one go bad so in not sure if its that?

Thanks for the help!

not having a MC cap won't cause this issue. The cap missing may cause the brake fluid to absorb water and potentially boil... but you said you bled out the system so that would fix that issue.

It sounds to me like the pads you bought are not good. Different pads will have a very different affect on the braking due to the different friction characteristics.

I would suggest buying a more aggressive pad and that will hopefully fix your issue.

(I have Wagner TQ's on my truck and the stopping performance is very good)
