Don't take the whole truck to the dealer. Call a couple of local dealers, ask for the service department, then ask them if they will run an Oasis report, if they will either tell them the VIN or run to the dealership with the VIN and get the report. If they say no, then call the next dealer. Most dealerships will run reports as a good faith/customer service measure.

I don't claim to be a genius, but I think my reading comprehension skills leave yours in the dust, kid.

^^^ What PHS79 said.

$10K for a 10 year old truck? Get the F outta here. And if you're serious about buying the dude's truck, he'll let you take it wherever.

Are you 'tarded? You get the stuff checked out BEFORE you buy it. Post up the Carfax report. And get an OASIS for the 1589153u43u435 time.

Have you still not gotten the OASIS run? It's free. Just tell them that you are thinking of buying it and will have all your service done at their shop.

You're taking all of this way too seriously. I think you could PM and have RollingRock delete his comment, but you will be the one who isn't here any more.
