Can someone point me in the right direction?

The battery in my 2004 E350 w/V10 crapped out today. I put in a new battery and now it runs poorly (wants to stall, runs rough). Does anyone know of a site for Ford vans were I might ask about this or has anyone had this trouble with a Ford 350 pickup? Thanks for any help. Joe

did you happen to unplug a vacuum line during the battery swap?

No. We cleaned the battery connections and "jumped" it to get it started and it started running like crap. Put a new battery in and it started right up, it just dosen't run right. Does the computer have to re-learn something?

Got it fixed! We have 120K miles on this van, when the new battery was installed the computer reset itself to the factory default settings. The problem was that it had a fair amount of carbon built up in the throttle body and injectors. The computer was sending the wrong fuel-air mixture out causing it to run like crap. We had them cleaned and ran it for 20 miles to "relearn" the codes. Now it runs like a scalded dog. Sorry to post a E350 question on a pickup site. Joe
