If head gaskets were done under warranty, you will probably be ok. Just look for signs that it hasn't been cared for. Good luck with the test drive!

Recalls are ALWAYS free.

To get an OASIS, you should go to the dealer. The old-fashioned way - GO there and speak to a service advisor when they aren't real busy.

okay so i test drove it today and am very impressed with the power and performance. the exhaust is beautiful. the turbo is insanly loud. haha i am hopefully going to buy this truck very soon. i need to get rid of my truck as soon as possible. would a banks 6 gun be good for this truck? also this truck is the 03 and a 1/2. so i think he said the injectors were bigger than the first ones.

Bank$$$ blows. Don't do anything on this truck before seeing an OASIS. Sure, it looks good, but what if it ends up spending all of its time in the shop?

yeah thats what im wanting, can i get an oasis report with the vin number? and from what ie heard having a big chip on these trucks is a bad idea, so im hoping that he doesnt buy the banks 6 gun for it. i would leave this truck the way it is once i got it, i also have a napa discount card, with discounts up to 75% on parts so hopefully ,if needed ill be able to buy my parts from there.

What part of GO TO A DEALER don't you understand? I haven't seen anyone around here that's been able to pull an OASIS in months.
