I have a 2005 F 150 crew cab, 6 inch fabtech suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. qusetion, the steering wheel as of recent is off center, though the front end alignment seems fine, doesnt pull or drift. any info as to how to correct would be appricated.?

WADE- My bolts dont look like yours, I have been back 4 times to get an alignment on my truck, I think i need some aftermaket bolts, I just cant find a part # for them. Also do you hacve 35" on your truck?

Bought the truck this way. The tires are 325/65/18's. Trad depth is getting shallow as heck. We measured the truck the day I got it and these tires brand new will be almost 35".

When I need new tires I don't know to keep same size (i like the width and the way it looks) or go to a dedicated 35x12.5. Truck looks "beefier" w/the width and I don't know if I'd like the skinnier tire.

Jordan, you would need different cross members to get any advantage from the cam bolts. Or you'd have to get yours modified, see how Wade's has those strips that keep the cam bolt washer in place?

My alignment has been fine since I got everything tightened down. Takes quite a bit of torque on those bolts though.

I did think of a quick fix for the newer version lift without cam bolts. simply take a peice of tubing with the I.D. the same or close to that of teh washer and cut it .250 thick or so and tack weld it to help retain the alignment . it dosent take much of a tack weld. and can be easily removed with a cut off wheel if a alignment is needed.

I have some tubing at work and bored the inside diameter to fit the 16mm washer. should work and a splash of spray bomb to blend it in.

i bought my RC lift back in june and it tooks me a weekend and couple days but all my bolts were correct and right the only problem is when i had to order my extra shocks for the front they sent me a steering stabalizer shock instead so i called them backa nd they told me to keep the shock and they sent me another with a **** load of RC stickers and 3 big windshield stickers i am extremely please with the ride and quality of the lift and would highly recommend them to any one.... my 88 ranger is goin to be looking at a 6" suspension lift very soon

national tire and wheel 1295 and free shipping ntwonline it is there "suspnsion special" that where mine cane from.

just before you do the install verify that every nut and bolt and washer is accounted for. otherwise it may set you back a week or two. i got lucky i could have went to the auto parts store for teh brass crush washers for teh brakelines but they sent them quick.

i remember Jordan was the members name had the same problems when they switched to regular bolts instead of cam bolts in the front crossmember. i think he just used lock tite and tightened them as much as he could
