What year truck without computer?

Hey y'all--
Just a quick question I am sure someone on here can answer for me. I have a family member who is looking for an old truck (Ford) and was wondering what year they started putting the electronics on the F-150. He wants one that does not have a computer on it so he can work on it himself. Just looking for an 'oldy but a goody' type of truck. TIA.

1981 was the first year of O2 sensors and basic computers. They used electronic feedback carburetors.
