Honestly, as far as programmers go there's the Gryphon, which we sell, and there is the SCT X3 and Livewire units which are sold by Troyer Performance, Justin at VMP, and also by us. Justin and Mike both know their sh-tuff when to comes to tuning and both are also super nice folks to deal with. I'm sure you'd be very happy with our stuff but you certainly couldn't go wrong with either of them as well.

As to the original question, most will agree that the best value as far as a power adder would be a programmer. The functionality and the performance gains as well as the reasonable cost make it a popular first mod for most folks. My other favorite would be a set of underdrive pulleys.

The important thing is to remember that it's your truck. Buy what makes you happy and enjoy it. Make it your personal statement and you can't go wrong. At least until the credit card bill comes!
