Plugs
The total of $100 , was the deductable for the cam phazer/ sylenoid job. The cracked motorcraft plug only had about 10k on it. stuff happens. What realy bothers me is having them tell me one worked itself loose. To the point that I was hearing a ticking soud. Poor workmanship would most likely be the culprit. At that service the tech. also left a shop rag in the engine compartment. I discovered it hanging around the p/s pulley when I checked her over when I got home, Also scuffed up my recently painted front bumper cover and left my doorpanel greasy and seat dirty. I never mentioned the grease and dirt to the service manager but let him know about the rag. One hates to sound like a whiner , But they should know when shoddy work is happening , I keep my truck very clean and to let someone else trash it when they're working on it is B.S.
