The pedal goes all the way to the floor because it is not operating anything. It does not come back because the pressure plate is not pushing it back. You cannot shift gears because the clutch is not disengaging. You've probably lost the fluid from your clutch system. Could be from a leaking slave cylinder (most likely), a leaking master cylinder or a blown line. It could also be an internal failure of either the master or the slave but that is unlikely

So start with the basics:
Does the clutch master cylinder reservoir have fluid in it?

There was fluid on the reservoir, and I just replaced the master cylinder and filled it up again, but nothing changed.

Where is the slave cylinder?

The slave is inside the bellhousing. You have to pull the tranny to get at it.
Not one of Ford's better ideas.

There was fluid in the reservoir? How much did you have to add to top it off?
Inspect the line from the master cyl down to the bellhousing look for leaks, cracks etc.

When you operate the pedal now do you feel any resistance? Does it want to return at all? You've got air in the system now but you need to find out where the fluid went.

I did not add any fluid because it was full. I had some after i changed the master cylinder. I changed it because when the resistence left the pedal hit the floor breaking the end of the piston of the cylinder.

I did not see any leaks on the line neither on the slave cylinder

So the initial failure could have been the M/C? If the slave is not leaking then it could be that all that is required is to bleed the system.

When you checked the fluid in the reservoir, did you remove the diaphragm?

Thanks for your anticipated help.

95 f150 slave

My 95 f150 needs a new slave. I did a little lookin around and found not all slaves are worth a poop. What brand is best deal? I don't want to spend a lot. But also do not want to replace it again in a year or so

If you fill the resevor you can manually bleed the clutch line by pressing the pedal some 100 times. this will bleed it. I ran 9 months on a leaking MC before it finally needed fluid everyday so I changed it out

Did that 4speed come from the factory? Is that have a separate bell housing? Lookin to swap my m5od for a 4 speed and itd be easier if i could swap for something more up to date
