Any ideas on how to approach a stain that's set into a fabric seat.... probably been there for many, many months... ?

I'm not sure what the stain's origin is [I'm fairly certain it's an OLD coffee stain] but I didn't address it when it happened [dumb azz] and now I'm thinking of selling it and it's an eye-sore.

Appreciate in advance any ideas.



PS: I can snap a pic or two of the culprit if it'll help.

 

Honestly a little bit of Oxy clean in water would get it off. Test it somewhere first so it doesn't take the color out of your fabric.

 

One word: FOLEX

They carry it at my local grocery store actually in the cleaners and other stain remover aisle.

I have been able to remove all sorts of things in my customers vehicles including old coffe stains, candy stains, and a plethora of vomit and other projectiles that come out of children and animals.

The Folex takes care of it everytime.

 

Many people have great results with Blue Coral Dry Clean Plus.
I just got a ground in chocolate stain out of the seat using the BC.

My brother also had good results with Resolve.

 

I second this.

Its a great place to start. Next would be Megs APC+.

Blue Coral is an excellent general cleaner. For spot cleaning I will recommend:

Goddards Dry Clean or KR2, each works excellent for removoing grease, ink, etc.

 

Well, I just got around to grabbing some Folex from the local Lowes.

Followed it exactly per the directions and was impressed with Folex.

It's removed about 80% of the stain with just the perimeter [outline] of the stain visible. I'm gonna' hit it again in a few days and try and get it all out.

Highly recommended.

PS: I've always used and kept in stock Blue Coral for general cleaning and, as many have stated, it is excellent but it just didn't cut it in this instance.

 

Good plan, I have had spots that did the same using Folex...had to hit it again a few times. But it does work.
