bull bar install?

ok i just got my bull bar in and was looking around on how to install it and i found a few things on here but none with pics. does anyone have any pics of where the bull bar installs too and how you get the bolt inside of the frame and tighten it down? not really understanding how

It installs where your tow hooks are currently attached.

What kind of bull bar do you have?

its a westin i got it used... and i do not have tow hooks so im going to have to cut my own holes for it. i jsut dont understand where the four bolts screw into. what i got with the bull bar was just four bolts and everything else was still together.

The holes are already in your frame horns. I attached tow hooks to my 2wd truck. It's hard getting the bolts in there, but can be done.

oh ok did you have to take your bumper off and reach your arm into the frame?

Yes, it makes things easier, just don't drop them down in the frame.

I left my bumper on...

As Stealth said, don't loose the bolts in the frame! I can try and take a pic or two tomorrow when I get back in town.

It's really not that hard, but having an extra set of hands makes things easier.

ya i didnt think it was hard just want to be able to get down and do it right and see if there was another way around other than looking the bumper but i guess theres not...


also can anyone tell me the dimensions of the holes they cut in their air dam? i know i can figure it out myself but if any of yall know why not ask

I used a long set of Snap-on needle nosed pliers to get the bolts in the holes. Just be sure to not push them through when you connect the brackets.

Also, before you take off the bumper take the brackets and set them on the frame horns and slide them towards the valance and mark for the cutout.
