The lazy HU question

Here it goes.. My Pioneer DEH P2900MP stereo has a front rca out and a sub /rear out.. I have both of these run to amps.. My rear speaker wires coming from the Head unit still work fine , do you suppose my front HU speaker wires will still work as I want to run some tweeters off of the HU power ??

I am running the sub out and the front out aux from the pioneer HU.. The Front out is hooked to an amp running my front 6x8's,, The sub /rear out is going to an amp and running my sub// the rear speaker +/- (L) (R) are going to the rear 6x8's/// just wondering if I can still hookup the tweets to the front +/- (L)(R) speaker wires coming out of the head unit .... will they still work even if I am using the front RCA outputto an amp ??

They sound pretty good .. I see they went back up .. I got them for 49.99 a pair on sale

They sound better than the sony's I had in the front and way better than the stock that was in the back.. I also used better screws and fastners to mount them and the rear door housings got a better seal with silicone.. also used peel and stick roof edgeing ( sort of like dynomat on the front and the back doors.. I will get pictures of this when I take the panels off again.. I am thinking of putting components in the front and getting rid of the tweets on the dash.. I think my wifes 2004 cavalier has 6x8 in the rear maybe I will give her my front set when I go to components.. Just got to get some more cash together..

I know crutchfield is usually accurate...but im pretty sure those references are 4 ohms and the kappas are 2 ohm stable. I know i wouldnt run them at 2.

Oh, and Ford/lincoln/mercury/mazada etc are the only companies that use 5x7/6x8. That cavlier should have 6x9 in the rear

yep you are right the cavalier has 6x9 but they sound awful.. I may make some plates for them ... About running at 2 ohms they are not having much problem.. I got plans for more amps and such .. Just got to figure out what I can afford on a budget.. I am still ticked about the POS Sony sub that I paid like 62.00 for and it lasted about 2 weeks..
