4r70W factory tech separator plate.
Then I installed the stock tune again so I could see how it shifted.
I've gotta say I thought it was kinda weak. I could tell that they were quicker than stock but nothing violent at all.
Then I put in my new Xcal3 tune on the 91 octane setting.
HOLY CRAP!!!!! On the shift from 1-2 and 2-3 it felt like I got rear-ended!
I'm gonna have to back off the shift pressure a bit!

Yea it's pretty sweet. I mean I gain about 5-7 mph on a shift change.
The bad thing is that I won't break the tires loose with these 38's on.
If something's gotta give it won't be traction, it will be something breaking!
I'll dial it in tonight.

So someone tell me this.
I had good, firm, quick, shifts using just my Superchips tuner before.
Now I have the seperator plate installed and I have to back off the shift pressure with the tuner to get back to pretty much what I had before with only the Superchips tuner.
Why did I put on this seperator plate????????

I have FT and Xcal 3 and running over 10 lbs of boost. Let the FT handle it all, no pressure change required with Xcal. 1-2 manual shift is sporty. For towing its a little harse, but then I took too many springs out of the accumulators.
Ok. I ditched the superchips tuner due to the fact that I just bought an Xcal3 for my future custom setup.
I loaded the 91 octane tune and set the shift pressure at -25% for the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.
At moderate throttle it feels about like it did before the FT plate with the superchips tune.
At full throttle, 1-2 feels harsh but not terrible. 2-3 still feels like I'm getting rearended.
Remember I took the springs out of the 2-3 and left "some" springs in the 1-2.
I'm just kinda scared that I"m gonna break something since I"m turning 38x15.5's and I won't break traction.
Should I be worried???????

hey forgot to ask the accumulators don't come out with the valve body do they, i'm gonna leave the stock spring in there, as i said earlier, and don't wanna have to screw around with more stuff then i have to. thanks for all the info, and keep it coming if you have more, also efuehrin i don't think you will break anything, but your neck, but tarajerame will probably be back and let you know.
I hope not.
It will be interesting to see what happens once I get the Kenne Bell on.
It would be pretty sick to be able to get a second gear scratch with those big meats on.
Actually these things put out more of a BARK than a scratch.
