Not to bad mouth Troyer as a whole, but let me tell all you guys that think the Troyer fans are the shiznet a little something about their "kit". Troyer fans are nothing but off-the-shelf, can be bought at any speed shop, Derale S fans. I don't know about now, but I'm a victim of Troyers learning curve on that kit and have had 5, yes five, electrical meltdowns due to the regulators, which are also over the counter. Nothing in his kit is proprietary to Troyer.
I also suffered a hole in the radiator from using the rods and went to replace them. I called Troyer to get just their new mounting bracket and those idiots wanted $75 just for the mounting brackets. With some guidance from Patman, I built my own brackets from aluminum barstock from home depot and now have mounting brackets that'll put Troyer to shame and the bill came in at just under $14.
Now that my mounting issue is solved, my next step is rewiring, and from the research I've done there's only one way to go...SPAL!
I'm nt bad mouthing Troyer, just his fan kit. You can do better. Youcan even source all the same parts individually for cheaper.
