First off Hello All. I am new to F150online. As for the tailgate strap issue, I have loaded a 4wheeler several times with no proplems. I am about 250lbs and the 4wheeler was several hundred pounds also, and I loaded it by riding it up and into the bed. So I don't think you will have a problem.
