Build sheet from VIN number

Where can I get the build sheet for my truck using the VIN number or some other identification? I bought a used F150 and I want to know what gears it has, options, etc.

I don't know about the build sheet, but you can get a PDF file of your window sticker. Just copy the following link into your browsers address bar, and follow it with your vin #, with no spaces. Make sure you use all caps on the letters in your vin.

That page only works three years back I believe. So you're out of luck for your '04, at least from that site. Maybe a dealer could get it for you?

When you try to get your window sticker, it should look like this, just put your vin in its place.

05RedFX4, when I click on the link for my truck it still comes up with the temporarilty unavailable page. Were you able to see my window sticker? If so, maybe you can email it to me at patoke@att.net. Thank you for helping me on this!!

What year is your truck? I found out that site only goes back 3 years, so if you have an 04 or 05 your SOL. Next year the 06's will drop off also. Some of the info on the truck is on the door sticker.

What model is your truck? What engine? Cabstyle? Look at the sticker on the drivers door for the axle code and post what it is. At least we can help find what gears you have.
