Can't comment on 04 and up but I have on on my 01 seems to give me more throttle responce.
agian not sure on the 04 up but on my 01 I need to open the intake elbo up to the 75mm that the throttle body is so the openings match and the air can flow smother (and get rid of the whistle I was warned by members here I would get by not doing this ...lol)
I bought mine used and I think it was worth the money...
