motorcraft gold engine coolant?

Go to "Bob" the oil and filter guys site. He has all different forums on the site and from discussion there, the Ford gold is made by Zerex, and is the exact same thing as Ford but possibly a slightly darker color gold dye.

206? That's fine considering that you're in a hot climate. What's your transmission fluid temperature? You could try Red Line Water Wetter or Royal Purple Purple Ice. The local hot rod speed shop with a dyno uses it, and they say that they've gotten good results on the dyno and at the track. But then again, your engine probably doesn't go wide open throttle on a regular basis for quarter mile runs, so you may not see any results at all. I've used it on cars out of superstition. It can't hurt, right?
