The first thing that I would do is get rid of those 2 add on cables from the battery. Then replace the mega fuse and make sure the alternator power wire is good from the alt to the mega fuse. The small wire to the solenoid is the one that energizes it when you turn the key to start. Check the other battery wire and make sure it has a good ground.
