yeah but for the most part the heavier part of the bike will be inside the truck bed correct? so i dont think most of the weight will be at the back on the tailgate itself. I see guys carrying motorcycles or atvs in their trucks all the time even in the 250s. Im pretty sure the tailgate straps are all the same in these ford trucks and how the tailgates are used. so i think you will be fine but someone correct me if im wrong

Edit: sorry didnt read it all correctly. You said when loading. OK i got yah and along with what i said i mean people loading it up into trucks i dont think they do it by themselves bc they dont want the bike to fall. But look up in the manual or somethign and see how much weight can actually be held by the tailgate itself.
