2004 tailgate strap strenght
Hello,
I have a motorcycle that probably weighs 320 pounds. I plan on carrying it on the back of my 2004 f150. I was looking at the straps that hold the tailgate when down, and they seam weak where the strap is crimped to the bracket. My concern is when loading the bike, and I'm standing on the gate, I think the load will be over 500 pounds. Any reason for concerns?
