If you rush it - or are too aggressive you could have holograms. If you take your time, have a little patience, and follow up with a softer pad - you shouldn't have problems. Each manufacturer and model are different. Some are known for soft clear coats, some for hard.

I can't get in by the license plate or my back hatch of my TBSS because I dont have a small enough pad. It'd be nice to have smaller pads when working in tighter areas (usually the fronts or rears of vehicles).
