Unless something changed between my model year and yours, you DO not have an alarm. Your vehicle is equipped with a "passive anti-theft" device that makes it almost impossible to start without your PATS key, but that's it.

There is NO alarm when I open a locked door in the manner described by mtylerb. In fact, the doors are very easy to break into by inserting a screwdriver between the door handle bezel and the sheet metal on the door. If the door is opened this way, there's no alarm either and anything in your cab is easy to grab.

I installed "JimiJammer" protection plates in all my doors to make forced entry harder. But, I have not put in an alarm yet. In general, my truck doesn't sit out exposed in areas where break-in is too likely.
