I too am curious about your thoughts about how turners affect on the life of trannys. For the most part I think they are good - firmer shifts equal less heat, friction and wear -that's good, and should relate to longer life.
I guess it's like everything else in life - moderation is the key. Somewhere between neck snapping, high pressures, and the sluggish slipping shifts from the factory is where you want to be?
