So, i called up the dealership today to see if i could come and pick up my truck. Guy tells me that when the tech dropped the trans pan to install this new sensor, all he found in the bottom of the pan was.... METAL!!!
I was like OMG!!!
Tech says he hasnt done a whole lot of "exploring" yet but says that it is "bad." also let me know that i am covered under the warranty! woot woot! he mentioned something about the planetary gears among other things and that he will let me know more tomorrow.
So, i am now stuck driving an '09 fushion... let me say for the record, if you are as tall as me (6'4") dont even think about it! I have to open the sunroof and stick my head out to fit in the darn thing! Seriously though, I am SOOOOO glad it is being covered under warranty!
So now that we know a little more about the situation, do you guys think that the tuner had something to do with this? I had the shift pressures up 10% from what Justin had them at for about 2 weeks. Before that i just had it the way he made it, so about 5 months.
What do you guys think???
