We would need to see some photos, I don't have a F150 but seem to remeber those pieces are painted and if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail there may not be much you can do to fix that besides getting new ones or repainting them. GLC is right, if you happen to rolling west for any reason you should arrange a visit with member HWM3, he is a Jedi.
