I am in the process of doing this as well...well kind of. Im only wanting to paint the plastics that are on either side of the radio and the end of the dash on both sides and doors. I want to get rid of that dark grey color and leave the light grey. Im going to do a flat black. I have limo tint all around and 30% on the windsheild so I dont think I will get barely any sun reflection off of that. Is it hard or even possible to remove just those dark grey plastic pieces? (I dont want to paint in inside the truck) Also, as for type of paint and prep, I got some high heat flat black..I bought this because I figure if you can paint an engine block and it not chip or peel, maby it won't on my dash...am I correct or wwwaayy wrong lol. Im not much of a follower in the art of spray paints. and prep, I was going to go with just some soap and water..maby even a light rub down of some miracle spirits or thinner first. idk
