I'm glad you understand, I'm still confused as hell! At least I understand he was really in 4th gear now. But, his tranny was locked up
and slipping climbing a hill? Is this possible? Then, he put it into reverse and in reverse is where the "slipping" is happening? And, if I get this right, you had to raise the rpms to 2500 before the reverse gear would engage? Were you climbing a hill in reverse?
I dunno, Jdiddy - why don't you call Tech Support at Edge? Maybe they can understand your problem better than we do.
