I said Frugal, not cheap or junk. Big difference. I'll sleep easier knowing I didn't cut corners on the cooling of my truck. thats just me. I do think however to have members on the forum telling the average truck guy he came piece together a Efan kit for 100 bucks and have no problems is misleading. Not only misleading but flat out false in some instances. Raptor(Technical Article Contributor) stated he can do it for $100. Then you read his next thread and his truck is over heating. He thinks he may need another fan. He has to run the heat to get his $100 fan set up to run.
Patman has done it, which is a good thing. I do not believe that this is the norm though. Patman seems to have above average knowledge about his F150 and the works of it.
If it is the normal then why is a site sponsor charger x4 times that?
It is my money, correct. I'll spend more money to make sure I don't have to run the heater to keep my truck cool.
